That's how this started.
I started Collegiate Power Movers on my own, in between football and classes. I needed a way to make money that semester, but I also wanted it to give something back to the community I was living in, not just pull money out of it. Moving people's homes seemed like the most direct way to do both.
The first job I ever booked came off Facebook, from someone I already knew. No ad spend, no marketing plan. Just one person who trusted me enough to let me carry their furniture. That job led to another, and another, the same way almost every job has come to us since. Someone tells someone.
What started as one guy between practices is now Collegiate Power Movers as it exists today: a fully licensed Minnesota moving company, now based in Woodbury, with Luke Speer as an equal partner. Built the same way it started, one job and one referral at a time.
Today we handle local moves, moves across Minnesota, packing, specialty items, commercial moves, and Speedy Moving for families across the Twin Cities, from Woodbury and Farmington to Minneapolis and beyond. The full story is in how CPM started.
