How much does Speedy Moving cost?+
Speedy Moving is billed by the mover-hour at our standard $75 per hour per mover, plus the truck fee for each truck, a $35 materials fee, and $1.29 per mile. Because a bigger crew finishes in far less time, the total labor usually lands close to what a smaller crew would cost over a full day. Every Speedy job is quoted individually before you book.
Is Speedy Moving actually more expensive?+
Not the way most people expect. Sending more movers for less time adds up to about the same number of mover-hours as a small crew working all day. You're paying for the same labor, compressed into far less time. Larger jobs may need an extra truck, which shows up in your quote.
How many movers will show up?+
Between 6 and 10, depending on the size of your home and how fast you need the job done. We set the crew size during the quote, not on move day.
Is the crew shared with other jobs that day?+
No. A Speedy Moving crew is reserved entirely for your job. That's a big part of how we get it done so fast.
What size home is Speedy Moving best for?+
It works for any home, but it makes the biggest difference on 3-plus bedroom homes where a small crew would otherwise be looking at an 8 to 12 hour day.

Speedy Moving shortens the loading and unloading. For moves across Minnesota, ask us about pairing a Speedy crew with our long-distance service.
How far in advance should I book?+
Because Speedy Moving reserves a large crew just for you, book as early as you can: 3 or more weeks ahead from May through September, and at least 1 to 2 weeks ahead the rest of the year.
